5 Healthy Breakfast Options

 5 Healthy Breakfast Options! We all know the importance of eating good and healthy breakfast as it determines our energy levels at the start of the day. That’s why it’s important to make sure we eat healthy yet sumptuous meal for breakfast.

Following are few of the healthy options that I have discovered over the years:-

1. Egg white Omelette

Bowl of fruits(seasonal and local fruits only)

5-7 almonds

Toast with eggwhite omlette

Coffee/Tea/Green Tea/ (as per your choice)

2. Whole Wheat Pancakes

Bowl of fruits or a glass of fresh fruit juice(stick to home made juice only and do not add any sugar or ice on top)

Whole wheat pancakes with honey or maple syrup

5-7 almonds

Coffee/Tea/Green Tea

3. Bircher Muesli

Bircher muesli(Swiss muesli made up of rolled oats and dried fruits soaked overnight in milk and kept in the fridge((almond or soya milk for healthier option)

Since muesli is a wholesome meal,you do not need to include additional fruits or dried fruits here.

A glass of fresh fruit juice

4.Vegetarian Omelette also known as Besan Chilla in Hindi

Made with chickpea flour batter(should be like pancake consistency) .You can add onions,capsicum and grated cauliflower also in thr batter and then cook it on a non stick pan just like regular pancakes.It’s high on protein and gluten free.

5. Idli( south Indian dish made with rice batter and then steamed)
